honestly, was a bit sceptical due to some reviews however - it was fab. I mean, great value for money, two nights stay with breakfast and being able to use all the facilities too.. travelling myself and an 11 year old, we had a great time - used the pool heaps! The room was just what we needed, beds comfortable with plenty space for us. When we first arrived there was an issue with a family of travellers infront of us and I couldn’t fault the staff member, she did a great job getting to the bottom of the problem and showed zero frustration towards the family who could of been nicer to her. We didn’t have much more dealings with staff but everyone was happy and smiled as we walked by. Was worried about noise with it being next to the dual carriage way, however we both slept great. Breakfast was great, just what we needed to start a couple of busy days. Plenty to choose from and great quality! Would definitely stay here again.

I booked this hotel for my very disabled wife and I to have short break after her Heart By Pass operation. One day later my wife had a relapes and was stopped from travelling. I cantacted the hotel twice by email and once by telephon to cancel our booking and further asked them to reply to my email. I further emailed Bookings.Com informing them of my cancellation. Two months later I was informed by my bank that the hotel had charged me over £200 for the cancillation when no charge should have been made. I saved for this break yet the hotel just took payment without informing me they intended to do so. VERY SHAMEFUL OF THE THEM AND BOOKING. COM. I now have to get both of them to understand. The rooms were really spacious and the facilities were amongst the best I have personally seen at hotels. There is a really nice gym with plenty of equipment and a separate studio/yoga room. There is also a nice pool - a bit too small to do proper laps, but something that gets the job done during a vacation - and a sauna and steam room. The breakfast buffet was also really nice. We also got a lot of complimentary things - drinks, both alcoholic and not, and also discount on food.

We met Sylvia, a staff member, shortly after dropping off our luggage early. She was waiting for her bus and helped us get into the city. She greeted us cheerfully every morning at the breakfast bar and gave us great recommendations for our daily excursions. We were able to get some laundry done during our stay, and we had a couple of nice evening meals in the lounge. We were able to park our rental car and get out of the area easily.

Good location just off the A9 so easy access for travel. large car park and plenty of space. The room was clean and bed comfy. Good quality of linen and bath in the en-suite. large TV and plenty of plug sockets and table for laptop. Friendly staff. Room nicely decorated and comfy arm chair for relaxing and watching tv. Massive bed. Plenty of ambient lighting and Windows that actually open for fresh air.
